(STUDIO CITY, CA / Mar 20, 2005) - Unknown Bowler Productions today announced the release of "Life in the Bowling Lane!" the world's first comedy DVD made specifically as a point-of-purchase sale item for the 65 million bowlers in the United States and Canada.

"Life in the Bowling Lane!" is a fast-paced, laugh-filled, comedy romp in a wild and crazy bowling center, starring the hilarious Unknown Comic (star of TV's classic "Gong Show"), and co-stars Bob Zany, one of the country's top stand-up comedians, who has appeared on "The Tonight Show" and regularly performs the "Zany Report" on the nationally syndicated "Bob & Tom Radio Show."

The 40-minute DVD begins with the Unknown Comic at home preparing for a "hot date" that he has planned for that evening. However, when she calls and cancels, the frustrated "bag-head" decides, instead, to go bowling. He proceeds to take the viewers on a wild and crazy tour of the wackiest bowling center ever seen. Ultimately, after befriending the wise-cracking bowling instructor (Zany), the Unknown Comic is stunned to discover his "hot date" at the bowling center. with another man! After a hilarious confrontation, the woman suggests the two men compete for her affections by having a bowling contest. The laughs come non-stop until the victor (guess who?) decides how he's going to celebrate his victory!

"'Life in the Bowling Lane!' is the perfect gift for any bowler," said network television producer and avid bowler, Danny Wolf. "With tens of millions of bowlers out there, I'm amazed that no one thought of doing a comedy directly for the bowling audience before."
