:: Tips ::
Here are some useful tips that may improve your game.

Before you get to the lanes,

-What we notice that seems to help is rather reading a bowling book or a bowling movie before you get to the lanes. Sounds wierd, but youll be suprized of what it can do.
-Make sure you have comfortable clothes to bowl in.
-Make sure to get some sleep.
-Never bowl on a empty stomache. It does effect some people.
-We here at CSBowling have a tested theory that protein improves your bowling performance.

When you arrive at the lanes,

-Stretch before you bowl. It will loosen up your body, causing better performance in your realease, speed, and most of all you can pull a muscle. And we all know thats no fun.
-For your first practice ball, do not throw your normal strike ball. Just maybe throw a slow hook or a straight ball. This will still help in the stretching process. Never start out with your regular strike ball.
-After you throw about 2 warm up balls, throw your normal shot. If that works then your good. If it dont, find another shot, but be sure to have two shots figured out, because eventually one will go away.
-Make sure your hand feels good in the ball. Maybe take some out of your thumb or add some tape. Try to do this during practice.

During bowling,

-You play the lanes, dont let the lanes play you.
-Favoring one style of bowling over another may cause you to lose an advantage and a match.
-Concentrate on one frame at a time.
-Always be sure to pick up your spares. Nothing is worse than having a all open game.
-Never have more than one ball on the ball rack. It gets really annoying when the balls get over loaded on the rack.
-If you order some food while your bowling, be sure to eat with your non-bowling hand.
-Always take deep breaths before you get on the approach espically if you have more than 3 in a row(turkey).

After the game,

-Look at your scores, find mistakes.
-Take your shoes off, let them air out for a bit. Same goes with any hand/wrist accesssory(s). Fold it inside out if possible to let it air out.

Important Tips

-Before you get ready to bowl each frame, use a towl and wipe the oil off the ball.
-Clean your ball(s) after each set using a strong ball cleaner or homemade ball cleaner. DO NOT PUT YOUR BALL IN THE OVEN.
-If you are using a resin or particle ball, be sure to get it resurfaced every 6-12 months. Resurfacing your ball will remove SOME scratches and cuts, not all of them. After resurfacing your ball, its almost good as new.
