Turbo Services Discontinued

Sorry but I'm not able to offer these services any more

Ported Exhaust Housings

Removing material at the exhaust housing outlet is one step in freeing up available horsepower for your GN.

Porting the exhaust housing allows faster spoolup & increases flow.

Opening up the wastegate hole eliminates boost creep. Standard puck size is 1 1/8". By noting the carbon track around the hole, it can be safely enlarged to 15/16". I do the turbo porting freehand with a die grinder and carbide rotary files.

Ported Elbows

Opening up the elbow to allow exhaust gases an easier path of exit is another way to maximize available horsepower for your GN.

Elbow on left shown with the lip removed. Stock elbow on right

Shown in this pic is how I round over the edge at the elbows exit. This allows the exhaust to have a straighter path into the downpipe. My opinion is that merely enlarging the outlet to remove the lip is only half the work needed to maximize the turbo elbows flow.

Seen any Grand Nationals in the 13s & high 12s that have a $460 3" downpipe? I have. Yes, going fast on the factory parts is possible. My GN has gone 113.46 on a stock turbo, ported elbow & stock downpipe and there's no reason yours couldn't pick up several MPH with some basic low-cost mods.

What you learn when you optimize the parts already on the car will pay you back down the road in knowing how to select your future mods.

3" downpipes pipes aren't needed until you reach the 115+ mph level.

SORRY - Oversized Wastegate Pucks No Longer in Stock
