These are a few examples of the many illustrations and icons I did for VASCI's Autosea2 Application. This software is used for sound vibration and acoustic engineering testing on 3 dimensional, computer generated models. Needless to say it's pretty tricky stuff and I was brought in to help fill out the software interface and dialog boxes with images to help the user. Some of the concepts they wanted me to illustrate were very esoteric and it was actually interesting to learn some things about acoustical engineering. I met with talented engineers and they would sketch out a rough with what they were trying to convey then I would create the illustration sometimes adding my own ideas to the concept to help clarify it. I also helped them develop a consistent, logical color scheme for the different systems being illustrated.
