Everyone is amazed at the marvelous transformation that has taken place at the parish playground: from a wasteland to an oasis in a single season.  As spring approaches, the playground committee wishes to remind everyone that the playground still needs to be finished.   There are still many pieces left to donate in memory of a loved one or as an advertisement for your place of business.  Actually any donation will be put to good use toward a new item of playground equipment.

Another opportunity to donate is a spectacular car show and dinner being held on Sunday, May 21 from 12:00 - 5:00 pm at Oakland Beach Field, Warwick, RI.  Our school playground will share in those receipts.  Program books will be distributed at that time.  Advertising is available in the program, call the school for more details.

June 5th: The playground dedication was held today.  Both Fr. Kiley and Fr. McMahon offered their blessings.  Many school families came to support this all school event.  Michael J. Marfeo, Jr. died on April 10, 1998 from brain cancer.  Through an annually held car show event, the Marfeo family made our school's dream a reality.  We thank Jim O'Connell for coordinating this effort and we also thank the many sponsors who donated materials and labor to prepare the playground and future play equipment area.
