C3 - Power Window Regulator
This project was on my to do list for  years.  I was manually pulling up and down the window since I bought the car.  The problem was it had a stripped gear. I was able to pick up a regulator on EBAY for under $100, a new one cost about $178.  This job can be done in 1 afternoon.

Remove lock cover, door handle, mirror control & door panel screws The round hole above the regulator came in handy for removing the nut for the  glass  The window motor is held on with three bolts

Drill out the original rivets about 5 of them Remove the two nuts on the track that attaches to the window.  It's ok not to  remove the glass which is held on by 1 more roller Note how worn the teeth were here

Slide the old regulator off the track on the top & add new grease  to the track Here is the new regulator A view with the track installed

The roller on the left (from the previous pic) will slide down this vertical track Remove these two bolts that hold the horizontal track to install the bottom roller shown here Compress spring & put a large bolt where this screwdriver is. The holes are already there

I drilled new holes for my rivets which were smaller Align door glass & put the door panel & trim back on The next project is replacing the gas tank sending unit
