Shire Romps and Other Stories

by Stranger

CURRENTLY BEING UPDATED. NEW STORY LINKS WILL BE ADDED SOON.

These are fan stories based on The Lord of the Rings, done for fannish amusement and no other form of profit. If you want the real thing, I recommend The Hobbit, the LotR trilogy and other books by J.R.R. Tolkien very highly.

WARNING: These are slash stories about hobbits. There's not a lot of philosophical complexity; the tendency is for sweetness'n'light and a great deal of friendly sex, with small amounts of spicy angst. If by any chance you're not sure what slash is, you can go HERE for a definition.

Standalone stories:

Looking Outside the Shire
Sam thinks about not being in the Shire, but with Frodo. As one of my friends says, it's funny how that so often leads to sex.

Fire in the Dark
Bilbo has had friends and companions and actual first cousins of his own since before Frodo was born. Written for the Hobbit Smut "Birthday Candles Are Hot" challenge.

Gone Fishing
PWP during Frodo's first summer at Bag End when he meets Gaffer Gamgee's eldest son. Written for the Hobbit Smut "I'm Doing Who?!" challenge.

Series: Shire Reckoning 1412
Pippin's summer of love, told in many small increments. Also, Sam and Frodo are noticing something, but they're not sure what to do about it for a while.

There are a lot of wonderful hobbit stories elsewhere, and I'm not going to try to list or link to them all. The West of the Moon archive contains gen, and slash and het, stories about hobbits.
