Brooks & Dunn -- If You See Her

Well, here it is July and lookie here y'all, Brooks & Dunn got themselves a new album out. If You See Her, the title of this album is the last half of the title If You See Him/If You See Her the first Brooks & Dunn and Reba McEntire duet. For those of you who missed the ACM Awards back in April or was it May, miss Reba flew non-stop from Australia, where she was currently touring to Los Angeles (Hollywood), just to sing the Duet with Kix and Ronnie. This song also appears on Reba's album If You See Him which at this time I do not have plans to review, yet.

All of the 11 songs on this album area great. One of the most interesting songs on this album has to be track #11 You're My Angle is Brooks & Dunn in rare form. You could almost, heck you can call this song a ballad. It is the most incredible song I have heard from Brooks & Dunn in a long time.

There are many other great songs on this album including How Long Gone, South of Santa Fe, Born and Raised in Black and White and When Love Dies.

All in all, a somewhat good album, but not nearly as good as Brooks & Dunn 3: Waitin' On Sundown. But, as I discovered with Brooks & Dunn there songs will slowly grow on you. I guess it is too soon to really tell if I like this album or not.

Next month I will review Dwight Yoakam's A Long Way Home. Questions or comments about this review, use the e-mail link below.
