Winter Storm 2006 Photos Album

On March 11, 2006, after 143 days of no measurable rain in Phoenix, the skies opened up. Chandler and other East Valley cities received up to 3 inches of rain. The storm also caused the snow level to drop to around 2000 feet producing a rare dusting of snow on the Valley's surrounding mountains. All pictures were taken at San Cierra or near/along Arizona Ave (AZ 87) in Chandler, AZ
