What is a Lions Club? Each Lions Club is a member of Lions International - the World's largest service organization with 1.4 million members in 44,600 clubs in 189 countries and geographical areas of the world.

Each club works within it's community to aid the blind and visually impaired, diabetics and physically and mentally challenged individuals.

The clubs also work on larger projects at the District level - projects that are too massive for a single club.  In District 21 our clubs support Camp Tatiyee, a camp for the handicapped located in the White Mountains, Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, Lions Foundation of Arizona, and the Melvin Jones Memorial (a monument to the founder of Lions who was born in Ft Thomas, AZ).

And finally, Lions contribute to the International effort to preserve sight and treat preventable blindness.
