This baby sweater is made from medium weight, champagne color yarn. It has a hood and raglin sleeves. It is adorned with a simple lace diamond pattern on the front and back panels. A simple tuck-stitch pattern finishes the sleeves and bottom edge. Closure at the neckline is fastened with knit-cord knots and a bunny button adds a bit of whimsy.

Luke donated the yarn for the baby sweater in the picture above. He is a white suri alpaca with large, well-defined, and tightly twisted locks. His, apparently white, fleece spins into yarn ranging in color from champagne to beige. Luke is Sire to Capital Alpacas’ Chocolate Darwin. Luke passed on to Darwin exceptional luster and light fawn colors.
