THE DOORS -
	Best of the Doors. Elektra EQ-5035 (CD4), ESTQ-5035-QF (QR),
	  8Q-5035 (Q8)
{The title above was reported as being released only in quad with no
 stereo version known. Apparently a stereo version was released, it
 was a Columbia House Record Club issue with the same grey cover but
 does not have "quadraphonic" or "CD-4" anywhere on the cover. it says
 stereo on the label and the vinyl does not have the same look that a
 typical CD-4 record has. The label is the typical red Elektra label
 from the '70's, catalog number 6E-5035.
 Their are 3 different label variations for the Quad version, The most
 common is the black label w/ multi colored butterfly, also a grey label
 similar to the stereo at the time but it does say quad and then their
 is a red and black label.
   In '85 a 2 LP white label promo on "high quality audiophile vinyl"
 titled "The Best of the Doors" was issued to radio stations, Elektra
 60345.
   In the U.K. thier was a stereo version and a quad version (Elektra
 K2-42143)
{Originally released as Quad only, stereo version released later}
