Services Today For Mrs. Bell

Funeral services for Mrs. George Emmett Bell, 78, resident of Dal­las forty-six years, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sears and Summitt Church of Christ, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Melvin J, Wise will officiate.

Mrs. Bell died Tuesday night at her home. 4400 San Jacinto, after a short illness.

She had taught the Young Busi­nesswomen's Bible Class of the Sears and Summitt Church of Christ for many years, and was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of 1812, Founders and Patriots of America, Mary Sharp College Club, United Daughters of the Con­federacy, the Delphians, the Gene­alogical Society, the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims and the Kentucky Society.

The former Fannie Osborne Slaughter, she was born in Dan­ville, Ky, in 1868.

Survivors are her husband; two sans, D. S. Bell and George S. Bell. Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Crosthwait. Los Angeles, and Mrs. Raymond Satterwhite, Dallas; two sisters, lirs. Dana S. Millar and Mrs. George Harrell, Jackson, Miss.; four grandsons and two great- granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be John D. Henry, W. R. Evans Sr, A. L. Anderson. Fred Davis, Ed Davis and Cliff Davis.
