Hidden Treasure (c) 1997 Helen Gex Greer A tribute to Eber Glendening You can find a hidden treasure, And keep it locked away. Where the gemstones stay in darkness, Instead of sparkle through the day. You can take a hidden treasure, Showing it to everyone around. Knowing well that some of them, May trample it in the ground. Or you can show a hidden treasure, To those who for beauty have an eye. And they will sing, rejoice, and marvel, For all in the water, earth and sky. And you took to hidden treasures, Those who willingly endured strife. To capture them in their glory, And display them in memories for life. And you leave more hidden treasures, Now that your time to travel is done. And in them we celebrate your life, When each treasure hunt is won.
