Sling Installation

The K31 has a unique sling system. Many find it a little confusing to install the first time they try. Once you get it the first time you'll see that's it's a fairly easy process.

Most slings will have been on a rifle for many years, you'll be able to see where they have folded over.

First make sure you have the three pieces you'll need to put the sling on the rifle. You'll need the sling, the sling "button" and the rear sling clip.

Start by feeding the sling (towards the muzzle) through the front sling swivel. Make sure that the loop is facing up.

Bring the end with the holes in it, back over the top of the front sling swivel, through the loop.

Pull enough of the sling through the loop so that the end reachs past the rear of the buttstock.

Feed the sling through the rear spling clip and snug slightly, the holes in the sling should line up. Attach clip to the buttstock.

Attach the sling together by pushing the "button" through both holes. You may have to adjust which hole you go through to find a comfortable setting for you.

Your done!
