This sword is very fine example of a Mexican eagle head.  It is a horn 
hilted short sword with an engraved blade, deeply stamped at the
ricasso with F C N along with scrolling and words that appear
to read, honor y gloria and goerrero mi pavivria.  26 1/2" is its overall
length with a 20 " blade. The blade is age discolored with some very
light rust.  The scabbard is very excellent original brown leather. 
A great Mexican revolution era sword.
