Our Contract

The students:

Attend every lesson and performance with your instrument and music unless absent.
Practice regularly- usually every day.
Keep up with your music assignments as well as your classroom assignments.
Take care of your instrument and music.
Stay in strings for the entire year. If you drop out early, you will not have learned enough skills to put everything together in a meaningful or useful way.

The teachers:

Provide a safe and comfortable learning/teaching environment.
Provide instruction on the basics of playing your instrument, the fundamentals of music and how to care for your instrument
Encourage you as you learn to play your instrument.
Provide music for your lessons.
