I pick up the Crosby line in 1684 when Jane Pickard, daughter of John Pickard and Jane Crosby married Edward Hazen. The earliest Croby I have found is John Crosby who was born in 1440. Robert Crosby (sixth generation)was born 30 Oct 1596 at Holme, York, England and apparently died there in 1642. His wife Constance Brigham was also born at Holme ,York, England but died at Rowley, Essex, MA on 25 Jan 1683/84. Jane Crosby was the daughter of Robert Crosby and Constance Brigham. Both the Crosby's and Hazens were early settlers in Rowley, MA.
