SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Rockport offers one of the best fishing areas along the Texas Coast. Just a walk along the harbor is interesting. There are tours from mansions to whooping cranes and a lot more. Tour buses are available to many areas, including San Antonio and Mexico. These are safe guided trips to make new friends and have a great time. Short drives find everything from large city shopping, the powerful waves of the ocean, or just feeding the gulls.

FRIENDLY FOLKS

Rockport is complimented by small town living (approx. 8500 people) but offers large town services because of tourist attraction. Our resident and business folks are very friendly and almost expect a friendly wave or a good morning comment when met. A slower pace and easy living can be detected throughout the area that offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

GREAT WINTER & SUMMER CLIMATE

Rockport is located on a peninsula with a bay on three sides. It has a gentle breeze almost year round that keeps the temperature lower than other areas of Texas. Winters run around 65 to 80, that is very comfortable, and summers warm to the 90-95 range. We get normal rainfall that keeps the grass and trees green and the flowers in bloom year-round. Our park always has something in bloom!
