November 4, 2002 -- Shogo Coop 1.11 Released - added Dedicated Server Support Finally finished tweaking the mod so that it will run stable with Shogosrv.exe. The following additional changes have been made: - Players may now join a game at any time. However, they will stay in a dead state until the current level is restarted or a new level is loaded. - Type "rs" at the console prompt to restart the current level. Type "rslobby" to start over at the lobby level. - Improved algorithms used to determine AI difficulty. - Various stability fixes. * IMPORTANT NOTES: A. Hosting with Shogosrv is not recommended. Shogosrv does not support saving or loading games. You can still use the rs and rslobby commands but players will be required to complete the entire level without dying. Additional life has been given to players using shogosrv to compensate for this discrepancy. B. Sometimes dialog will stop responding after a client disconnects. This can be fixed by either restarting the level (rs) or completing the level. June 13, 2002 -- Shogo Coop 1.01 Released: Optimization Update I've been playing around with compiler optimizations lately and decided to try them on Shogo Coop. I think this should be a faster executing version although I couldn't really notice any change in frame rate. This release will be known as version 1.01. June 1, 2002 -- Shogo Coop Released After 10 months of hard work, Shogo Coop version 1.0 is finally finished! I've made absolutely sure that there are currently no known bugs and that this is a very stable release. The information on this site currently pertains to version 1.0 of the mod only. Any information regarding future versions of the mod will be found here in the news section of the site. I will also post answers to faqs here. So please bookmark this page and visit often!! |
