My favorite feature of the Omnifi products is WiFi via USB.
However, there are currently only 2 published "officially 
supported" wireless adapters.  Because the Omnifi products
are basically small computers with USB ports running a 
linux 2.4 kernel, other adapters that use the same chipset
should work just fine.  It looks like the latest firmware
builds from Omnifi support the Intersil Prism 2/2.5/3 WiFi
chipsets.  




I've heard people talking about 802.11G adapters for Omnifi
but I have yet to understand why...  The Omnifi DMS1 & DMP1
have a USB 1.1 host controller that has a max throughput of
12 Mbps.  The only advantage I can see to having an 802.11G
adapter on a DMP1/DMS1 would be to prevent the 54G wireless
network from slowing down because it is taking to both B & G
clients.
