- For the Advanced Communication Technology Satellite (ACTS) Proof-of-Concept in-house test system, co-designed prototype Parallel/Serial and Serial/Parallel converters employing emitter-coupled logic (ECL) that achieved 250 MHz serial data rates.
- Working with advanced circuit board manufacturer, developed production version of P/S and S/P converters employing two planes of controlled impedance wiring to support both Fairchild Advanced Schottky TTL (FAST) and Motorola Emitter-Coupled Logic (MECL) technology IC's.
- Designed and implemented ECL to MECL converters, providing operation to 330 MHz serial data rates.
