Hi Yall

If you were not at TICC this year you missed a great one. The annual

TWAT (Tennessee Women At Terlingua) ceremony was revived with FLOP Pod members

Carolyn Oliver, Candi Kinght-Arevelo, Dixie Johnson (yes the 2000 Champ

herself) among this years inductees. And of course our very own Randy Moore

is the reigning TICC Champion, congratulations!

This years Florida State Championship was a tremendous success. Carolyn

Oliver was the the key to it's success. She worked many hours ensuring that

sponsors and prizes were taken care of with many other details that made

this cookoff Florida's premiere event. Congratulations to this years new Florida

Champion Bill Garbutt. How about Kathleen Bernard, her third time cooking

chili and she has 2nd place at the FLOP Pod CCO on 9/01/01 and 5th place the

next day at Gulf Shores Zoo, and now 2nd place Florida Champ (qualified for

TICC). Note to Brian and Ted, the recipe works! I managed to pull out 3rd by

taking 10th place. Thanks to all the cooks who attended and hope you all had

a wonderful time.

Our Pepper Popper, Jim Maturo has suggested that maybe Pod members would

like to get together and put on a large show team. Dr. Doubleshot and Nurse

Magic are all for this. Taking 1st at Florida State in showmanship qualified

us. So let's talk about this and see if we can't come up with ideas.
