Arapaho and Cheyenne Delegation. The Cheyenne and Arapaho leaders made a number of trips to Washington, D.C. On this one in September 1880, they first visited Pratt's boarding school in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Seated left to right on the front row are Cheyennes Bob-Tail and Big Horse and Arapahos Left Hand, Little Raven, and Yellow Bear. On the back row left to right are Cheyennes Man-on-a-Cloud and Mad Wolf. Agent John Miles is second from the right, and interpreter Robert Bent is on the far right.
