Mike Jamison, who lives in Australia, sent me this picture of his 8" version of the aluminium truss tube telescope. In the U.S. it's "aluminum", but in Australia & England it's "aluminium". Each to his own; it gets the job done, whatever you call it. Looks good, Mike! |

| Gayland Kellison built this 10" scope based on the design shown on these web pages. He opted to use drilled blocks to anchor the truss tubes at the bottom & I think that's a better solution than the approach I used. Well done, Gayland! |

Greg Strachov built this beautiful 13.1" instrument using information on this web site. He chose to use genuine Obsession aluminum trunnion bearings and more red anodized pieces including the aperture mask above the mirror. Great job, Greg!
Greg included this shot of himself & wife, Kyra, who lends support to his efforts. |

| Chris Wilson, who lives in North Carolina, is the current proud owner of the original 10" aluminum truss-tube telescope. He purchased it from me after I had finished construction of the 12.5" version. I was using the 10" scope less & less often, so I decided it was time it found a new home where it would be put to use. Chris came along & asked about it at just the right time so we agreed on a price & I shipped it off to him in the summer of 2003.
Chris appears to be a happy guy, don't you think?
