Combat Wombat dirt bike!

No big budget on this one. Just a project to get back into some grass track (vintage) MX or cross country stuff.

I have been working on this since June this year. Got it finished last month, in time to run a couple of races. It is a 73 Hodaka Combat Wombat (125cc) with a reed kit and piston porting.

The Briggs Bobber Project

Engine: Briggs & Stratton 35 ci , 18 hp , 30 ft. lbs torque

Torque converter drive
Frame: hard tail after market for ?

Forks and front suspension are homemade and work very well

Wheelbase: 58"

Wheels / tires size:18"x4" 

Brakes: Honda 350 hubs & drum brakes with 54" swept area are about right for the 300 lb bike

Seat height: 25" and crankshaft is well below wheel axles

Should run in 70s but runs in 60s, might be exhaust restriction

Bob Decker to take vintage Simplex motorcycles and turn them in to likeneses of other famous motorcycles.

In the three photos on the left Bob has used a Simplex to replicate a 1940 Indian

In the two photos on the right are photos of the vintage board track racer Bob built from a vintage Simplex.

Both bikes are Tecumseh powered
