Pictured above is my 1966 Bridgestone 90 Mountain Oil -Injected that I completely restored from the ground up in 2002. This bike was one of my toughest restoration projects to date. With very few of these models produced, parts are rare to find & interchangeability of other models was not possible. A lot of the parts I could not find where hand made. The bike was awarded first place at the Bridgestone Rally 2002 that was held in Townsend, Tennessee June 21-23, 2002 and the bike was awarded first place at the prestigious Antique Motorcycle Club Of America's Davenport Iowa show on September 1, 2002 & was awarded first place at the Bridgestone Rally 2003 with a score of 100 on July 5, 2003. The bike was also awarded first place at A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois bike show February 22,2004 & was awarded first place at the Ansar Shrine Classic Car Show May 2004.

The 90 Mountain was awarded first place in class at the 2005 Bridgestone Motorcycle Rally held in Bowling Green, KY on 7/30/2005

Well you did ask here the history of the JAFS (This stands for Just Another F----- Special the F is not for F----- but Flipin )

In April 2000 I had been given a Matchless 250 with an engine that had a broken crank pin but I had a good Z400 Engine that I had paid £10 for that I had rebuilt so decided to create a Special and call it a Mackawaki.
I decided to see if I could build a bike for £50.
In October I 2000 I was offered a Z400J Frame and thought this would be better proposition than the Matchless one so I opted for this.

The prototype was put together from April 2000 to October 2000 to sort out how the parts I had went together and to see what other Parts where needed.

I Started Assembling the parts In Feb 2002 and completed it around August ready for the M/M Show at Stafford County Show-Ground in October.

The Bike Spec is as follows.
Frame Kawasaki 400J
Wheels Honda CB450 Black Bomber
Rear Sprocket Kawasaki Z440
Tank Yamaha XS650
Front Mudguard X5 Suzuki
Rear Mudguard Harley Davidson Cut Down
Engine Kawasaki KZ400D
Carbs Kawasaki KZ400D
Down-pipes Kawasaki Z440 LTD
Handlebars Triumph T100
Levers Norton P11

Seat Kawasaki Z400B1
Ignition Kawasaki KZ400D
Side Panels Fabricated by Owner
Tyres TT100s From T100
The Engine has had the Generator and the Balance Weights Removed and runs directly from a Battery
The Bike will be used for Hill Climbing sometime in the future.
