The Blues Box presents a fresh new look, yet an old feel of vintage amplification. With new custom boutique designs that look fresh and new, feel great yet has that vintage tone you can only find in the amplifiers of the good old days.

Want that old school Little Walter , Clapton, SRV, Butterfeild sound in an amp? Everyone wants that old tube amp sound from the 50's, 60's & 70's and what better way to get it then to have the vintage parts that made that sound back then, custom built in a new cabinet. All this custom work at a much more affordable price than the other boutique and custom amp builders.

First channel lower gain, second channel high gain.

Vintage ch35 - 35 watt chassis with two twelve inch Jensen special design speakers. This amp was built for a customer's special order, he wanted a little more headroom for volume and still try to maintain good blues harp crunch with it, so we used two C12Q speakers for this model, this amp tested awesome, it had volume to spare and really broke up well when cranked! Lots of low end response.

Vintage Bogen CH10 amp chassis modded to use a 6V6 power tube
and a 12AX7 preamp. Features Volume, Master, Tone knobs with on/off switch.
Has a vintage 1960 Conn alnico speaker which gives this great looking amp some MOJO!
New Cabinet in Black tolex with chrome hardware and silver grill cloth.
This one has the look of the fender models with the traditional black and silver.
Although it doesnt have that fender harshness, its got a more harp friendly
feel and sound, just like its brothers its all honking mojo chicago blues
fat screemin tone!
Rear 1/4 input jack, 1/4 speaker output with 4, 8, and 16 ohm
selections for speaker add on and swaps. Removable grill cloth for easy speaker swaps.
I added a nice face plate to this one and its really nice!

Vintage Silvertone 238 chassis 8-10 watt

Vintage Silvertone 238 chassis 8-10 watts 6V6 power tube section, 6X5 rectifier and 12Ax7 preamp. All tube TONE MONSTER. New Tweed cabinet custom built to house the cool silvertone amp. 1x12 speaker is vintage alnico magnet for great early vintage tone break up.

  • One twelve inch vintage organ or 1960’s amp rib coned speaker.
  • Customized Tweed Toilex covered cab with chrome hardware.
  • Removable Oxblood grill cloth for easy showing or speaker swapping.
  • 8-10 watt chassis 1960 silvertone 238 p2p hand wired vintage amp.
  • Mic input in rear of amp, vol and tone knobs with jewel light.

This one is sweet sweet, it reminded me of the harmony or gibsons, you can crank it to the max with minimal feedback and get all the gutts and glory from these cool tubes. The amp really gets gritty and honks with some real gutts.
