The
Community Players will hold open auditions for Agatha Christie's
classic whodunit, The Mousetrap, Monday, November 17 and Tuesday,
November 18, 7 p.m. at Jenks Auditorium, Division Street (across
from McCoy Stadium), Pawtucket, RI. The Mousetrap is the longest
running play worldwide.
Director
Cathy Fox is looking for the following cast of 5 men and 3 women:
Mollie
Ralston - age 25-35: energetic, hopeful air about her
Giles Ralston - 30-40: (Mollie's husband) - less trusting, somewhat
arrogant
Christopher Wren - 30-45: neurotic and peculiar, with a childlike
manner
Mrs. Boyle - (55-65): critical and snooty
Major Metcalf - (55-65): military in manner, a gentleman
Miss Casewell - (45-55): strange, aloof, manly demeanor
Mr. Paravicini - (45-60): foreign acting, flamboyant
Sergeant Trotter - (50-60): upbeat, take-control, common guy
NOTE:
BRITISH ACCENTS REQUESTED. Auditions will consist of cold readings
from the script.
