Huntley Meadow

Huntley Meadow is a Fairfax County park where we regularly go birding. There’s about a half mile of woodland trail before you get to the boardwalk. The boardwalk crosses a large swamp, or wetland.

After the boardwalk, there’s more woodland trail. We usually get off and head into the “wilderness”.

I always get a chuckle as we pass this sign.

I’m not sure how they can not recognize that this is a path, since they put up a sign to mark it.
