Green Mountain Power Wagon Rally, 817 South Reading Road, Cavendish, VT

From south - CT, central MA (rt 2 to Greenfield and I-91).

I-91 to exit 6, left off exit onto Rt 103 north to Chester.  Take right continuing on Rt 103 north while in Chester towards Ludlow.  Right onto Rt 131 east (before Ludlow). Before the intersection of Rt 103 and Rt 131, there is right off Rt 103 marked with a sign for Proctorsville.  You can take that shortcut through the village of Proctorsville which will bring you to Rt 131 or continue on Rt 103 around the bend to the intersection of Rt 131.  Right onto  Rt 131 east, about ½ mile to Twenty Mile Stream Rd on left.  Left on Twenty Mile Stream Rd for 1.4 miles, then 1^st right onto Heald Rd. Heald Rd. for 2 miles to end at South Reading Rd.  Left on South Reading Rd for .8 (8/10) mile to the rally at the intersection of So. Reading  Rd and Brook Rd.

From east - NH, Boston. Maine

NH Rt 12 north.  Keep an eye out for RT 12A (Ascutney VT) south of Claremont.  Left on Rt 12A to Rt 12.  Left on Rt 12 west towards Ludlow, VT.  In VT, Rt 12 becomes Rt 131.  West on Rt 131 to Rt 106.  Straight across Rt 106, continue about 5 mi to Brook Rd on right.  Brook Rd is at the first commercial business called Global something since crossing Rt 106.  Right onto Brook Rd.  At red house and East Hill Rd, bear left over small bridge continuing on Brook Rd.  Straight through intersection of Center Rd on left and Atkinson Rd on right.  Continue on Brook to end at South Reading Rd and the rally.

From north - I-89, White River, I-91.

Exit 8 off I-91, Right off exit onto Rt 131 west.  Follow NH, Boston Directions above.

From north - Rutland VT,  and NY State.

Rt 7 south to Rt 103 south to Ludlow.  Through Ludlow continuing on Rt 103 south to Rt 131 about 3-4 miles outside of Ludlow.  Left on Rt 131 east (only way).  At about ½ mile, left onto 20 Mile Stream Rd.  Follow From South CT, central MA directions above.

NY State – you can either go through Albany then Troy NY, Rt 7 towards Bennington (Rt 9 in VT), north on RT 7 (VT), Rt 11 to Rt 100 north to Ludlow.  Or the easier drive but slightly longer distance is I-87 north past Glens Falls to exit 20, Rt 149 east to Rt 4 east, through Ft Ann and Whitehall continuing on Rt 4 east into Rutland VT.  Then Rt 7 south to Rt 103 south to Ludlow.

From north -  Rt 100. 

Rt 100 south of Rt 4 through Plymouth to the Echo Lake Inn on right.  At the Echo Lake in take left across bridge onto Kingdom Rd.  Kingdom Rd for 5.1 miles to Tattle St on right.  Tattle St (on right) is marked by a sign for Newhall Farm and Weld Cemetary Rd left.  Right on Tattle St. for 3.3 miles to the rally.  Tattle St changes into South Reading Rd somewhere along the way.

From north - Woodstock VT and Rt 106.

South on Rt 106.  Just past intersection of Rt 44 on left is Reading.  Right onto Tyson Rd at the Reading County Store.  Tyson Rd. to Grasshopper Lane on left.  Left onto Grasshopper Lane to end and Tattle St/South Reading Rd.  Left onto Tattle St/South Reading Rd. for 1.4 miles to intersection of Brook Rd and the rally.

 From south – Weston, Londonderry, Manchester VT and Albany NY  

Rt 7 north to Manchester, Rt 11 east to Rt 100 north to Ludlow.  Right on to Rt 103 south.  After a few miles, left onto Rt 131 east.  Follow from north – Rutland VT directions above.
