 BUDDY JACK VOCALS, RYTHYM GUITAR
The lead vocalist is Buddy Jack. Buddy was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. He has spent much of
his life singing and entertaining in local rock groups around the Oklahoma City Metro Area. But his love of
country music was always lying under the exterior and eventually came bursting out.
It is not uncommon for Buddy to perform songs from dissimilar artists. Buddy's smooth, silky vocal style puts
him among the top singers in the Oklahoma country music scene.
Now as the lead singer of The Young Guns he is hoping to take this group of talented musicians to a new
height of excellence and bring passion to the voice of today's country music.
 JAIME ALLEN DRUMS
Until a few years ago drummer Jamie Allen was one of Oklahoma's best kept secrets. No more. Oklahoma's
drummers have been served notice, and there is now a new standard of excellence to strive toward. Jamie's
"thrashing country" style gives The Young Guns an energy level previously unheard of in the Oklahoma
country music scene.
Born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma, Jamie played trumpet in the Norman High School Marching Band and
participated in several state and national music competitions. He began playing drums at the age of
sixteen. While attending the University of Oklahoma he played in several local Top 40 rock bands. He
co-founded The Young Guns in 1991. He is extremely versatile and is capable of playing country ballads or
"smash-mouth" rock n' roll with equal skill and energy.
 LARRY COLDIRON LEAD GUITAR
The lead guitarist is Larry Coldiron. Larry was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He has been
playing and singing on the local club circuit for years. He started playing rhythm guitar in the
Stonerbridge, Spur of the Moment and Hard Knox before joining The Young Guns.
Moving into the lead gutarist position was the next logical step for Larry. His guitar playing style is
very solid and diverse. He can go from a heart-felt love song to a searing rock n' roll solo with no
lessening of quality or style. His vocal work, both as a soloist and in a backup role, is of high quality.
 MICHAEL SHAWN BASS
Bassist Michael Shawn provides a smooth, solid bottom end to The Young Guns sound. With a background in
music as a child, Michael studied trombone through high school (also playing bass guitar in the show choir
combo), and went on to major in music at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK.
In his second year he was invited to become a member of the world's largest fraternity for professional
musicians, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Since leaving school, Michael has toured the country performing for
thousands in powerhouse groups like; The Austin Nail Band, The Otis Watkins Band and Kinky Slinky as well
as several others.

The Young Guns are a band on the edge. The cutting
edge, of country music. Sweeping across the Oklahoma Prairie like
an out-of-control twister The Young Guns exploded onto the Oklahoma
country music scene in February of 1991. The Young Guns were formed
in Norman, Oklahoma and the members have toured with Steve Wariner,
Earl Thomas Conley and Shenandoah.
Full-force guitar driven country and a balance
of steady rhythm foundations compliment irresistable vocals that
invite the listener into their world. This is the ultimate good
time band. Says Drummer Jaime Allen when asked about the bands goals,
"We've accomplished just about everything we set out to do
and now we are ready to take it to the next level." Their distinct
style, while somewhat off the beaten path, is good. Diversity is
their trademark. This is not your typical "stand in one place
and play" band. Their stage show is always an exciting and
unpredictable experience.
With a state-of-the-art sound system and ability
to get a crowd involved and keep them involved, The Young Guns have
earned a reputation as a number one drawing country rock band on
the Oklahoma country music scene.
