Is Salvation Available To Everyone?

Did you know that God's gift of salvation is for everyone? That's right! Salvation is God's gift to each and every man and woman on earth. You were born with this gift. God does not pick and choose who gets into the Heaven and who does not. And neither should we.

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Ephesians 1:4
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

It doesnt sound like God is excluding anyone here does it?

So what does this mean then? It very simple. The difference between a saved person and an unsaved person is only a matter of recognician. The unsaved person already has salvation, they just have not realize it yet. They have not reconciled with God

So when do we realize who we are in Christ Jesus and get saved? Thats a good question. I believe when you realize Jesus is Lord you are saved. It doesnt take "salvation prayer" per say. Confessing (recognizing) Jesus as Lord, gets you into the Kingdom. IT IS A REQUIREMENT! Without it, the alternative is hell.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.....Philippians 2:10

I think we are all in agreement that you and I got saved here on the earth. But Im going to break from religious tradition and say that I believe you can be in hell and still get saved. Hell is intended as punishment, not banishment. Created for satan and his angels for their eternal punishment, not yours. Punishment, is nothing more than a process to bring about conversion. You go from a wrong-doer to a right-doer. Its about reconciling with God. Let me point out in scripture why I believe this:

in Philippians 2:10 where the scripture reads "things under the earth". This speaks of Shoel, Hades or Gehenna, not things under water or oceans. As I read and understand it, you can be in hell and reconcile with(confess) Jesus AND be saved.

Lets read some more scripture:

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached to the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 1 Peter 3:18-20

Hmmmmmm "spirits in prison" sounds like souls in hell to me.

Lets read even more scripture:

For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.....1 Peter 4:6

Hmmmmmm "them that are dead" sounds like souls in hell to me. Now thats three scriptures in a row saying Jesus went to hell and saved souls. How can it be that churches today dont preach that the unsaved in hell can still be saved? Not by you or I but by Jesus Himself.

Before you call me a heretic, do your own research. We been taught and I wholey believe that God is a God of second, third and more chances. Why would'nt He offer salvation to those who missed it in the natural the first time.

Lets Read on....

Now if the writers of the New Testament had intended to communicate the concept of punishment without end, they could of used the word aidios. Aidios is used twice in the New Testament; in Romans 1:20 where referance is made to God's "eternal power and deity" and again in Jude 6 where it refers to fallen angels being kept in "eternal chains... until judgment.

note: that in reference to God's power as without end, and in the devils case in chains without end!

Instead they choose to use the word "aionios" which is used 68 times in the New Testament. In the Greek Lexicon it is translated as "indefinate but limited duration" or in the case of Youngs Analytical Concordance as "age lasting."

So what does that mean. Well I think its saying that hell for man (the unsaved) isnt for eternity. I believe as I read this, that if I died before accepting His salvation, that I would make a trip to hell, into a lake of fire and torment, and that Jesus would make an appearance in hell on my behalf and offer me the cup of salvation there in my agony.

I am come a light into the world, that whoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.....John 12:46-47

He is here not to judge the world, but to save it. Where in the Bible has Jesus ever put a time limit on His Love, His mercy, salvation..?

This is a rather short article. So please forgive my rather shallow presentation of this radical topic. You can dig deeper into this by reading Kalen Fristad's book "Destined For Salvation" or searching online by the topic "universal salvation".
