O JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM!

Installment # II

In the last newsletter we discovered several things from Scripture. First, we discovered that modern day Jerusalem is called Sodom and Egypt. Second, we discovered that the New Testament harlot is no different from the Old Testament harlot. The harlot of the Old Testament was Judah, Jerusalem and Israel, YAHWEH’S own people. Third, we found that both we, ourselves, and the Jews are still in Egypt, and Fourth, we found that Judah’s and Jerusalem’s sins were judged to be twice as bad as those of Sodom’s, Gomorrah’s and Israel’s which caused YAHWEH to pronounced double destruction upon them (Judah and Jerusalem).

History records the destruction of Judah and Jerusalem by both the Babylonian kingdom under Nebuchadnezzar and also at the hand of the Roman kingdom under the Caesars. This is essential and important to understand because Babylon was the first kingdom of Dan. 2 and the first beast kingdom of Dan. 7, while Rome was the fourth kingdom of Dan. 2 and the fourth beast kingdom of Dan. 7.

YAHWEH overthrew the Judaic kingdom because of their excessive sins and rebellion and raised the kingdoms of the Gentiles to prominence. The Gentile kingdoms have held sway and power over Jerusalem and the promised land for several thousand years now, as well as the rest of the world, but changes are in the wind. YAHWEH has promised to restore the kingdom to Judah and Israel in the last days. So what is in store for the world in the near future?

JUDAH’S REBELLION AND SIN

Jeremiah is inspired to charge, "Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other elohim whom ye know not; and come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’? Is this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your yes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith YAHWEH of Hosts," Jer. 7:8-11.

This was the greatest sin that the people of Judah and Jerusalem could have committed. They were worshipping in the temples of other elohim and then coming before YAHWEH in His temple and worshipping Him, declaring that they were supposed to be doing these abominations. Judah, in effect, was in the process of syncretizing the worship of YAHWEH with the worship of the elohim of the other nations.

This process began in earnest with King Solomon who built the temple that was dedicated to YAHWEH and His great Name in Jerusalem. After sometime, Solomon allowed his many wives to turn his heart away from YAHWEH. He also built palaces for his many foreign wives and temples for their elohim. It appears that none of these wives had the heart and mind of Solomon’s ancestor, Ruth. Remember that Ruth told Naomi, "... whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy People shall be my People, and thy Elohim my Elohim," Ruth 1:16.

These wives were evidently taken up by the grandeur, power and riches of Solomon, but not by His Elohim, YAHWEH. They were instrumental in turning Solomon’s heart away from YAHWEH. When he built the temples to their elohim and went in to worship with them (which displeased YAHWEH, of course), this was the beginning of the syncretization of the worship of YAHWEH with the pagan elohim.

Of course, the foreign wives bore children to Solomon. These children would have been the great nobility, the princes and princesses of the kingdom. A child is greatly influenced by his or her mother. They would have been raised with this spirit of syncretization. The people are like sheep who look up to their leaders for direction. Thus, the stage was set for the leaders, the nobility of Judah to lead the people in their erroneous ways.

THE ROBBERS

YAHWEH proclaimed that His house had become a den of robbers! The most important question is, Who are these robbers? Is it possible that they can be identified in the Scriptures and can we identify them today? The answer is, Yes, we certainly can identify them and their pernicious ways, if one has a mind to allow the Scriptures to be his guide.

The Savior and Sovereign YAHshua identified exactly who these robbers were in the book of Matthew 21:110-13, "And when He was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, ‘Who is this?’ And the multitude said, ‘This is YAHshua the Prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.’ And YAHshua went into the temple of YAHWEH, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, and said unto them, ‘It is written, ‘My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

This statement, "My house shall be called a house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves," is a combination of Isa. 56:7 and Jer. 7:11. In this statement, YAHshua has identified those of His day who had control over the temple as the "thieves or robbers." The controlling influence over the temple in YAHshua’s day were the ones who sat in Moses seat, to wit, the Pharisees! (Mt. 23:1)

It is freely admitted by Jewish society that modern day Judaism is directly descended from the Pharisees of old, "The Talmud, composed in Aramaic, treats extensively of the Pharisees (Perushim) and of their public activities, opinions, principles, and practices. For it must not be forgotten that Rabbinic Judaism, as it is codified and expounded in the literature of the Talmud, was the creative product of the Pharisees collectively. And so, in a large measure, the Talmud remains, for the student of the Jewish religion, a graphic self-portrait of them, of their values, and of their way of thinking," The Book Of Jewish Knowledge by Nathan Ausubel, pp. 337-338.

"In toto, their (the Pharisees) amalgamation of the sacrosanct Biblical laws with Rabbinic teachings and regulations formed the bedrock of the Talmudic Judaism that grew up following the destruction of the Temple in 70 C.E." (IBID.)

Modern day Judaism is directly descended from the Pharisees! They were the thieves, the robbers of the temple in YAHshua’s day! It is also obvious that the same basic system existed in Jeremiah’s day.

THE CABALA/KABALAH

Modern day Judaism holds two works in high esteem. Those two works are the Talmud (touched on sparingly above) and the Cabala. While it is admitted that the Talmud is a work of the Pharisees, the Cabala or Kabalah is a work of Jewish mystics.

The Book Of Jewish Knowledge has this to say, "In its long history, Jewish religious thought has been characterized by two major trends complementary of each other. No doubt the more preponderant of these two has been rationalism. This is represented by the larger part of the Talmud and the vast commentary literature written around it since the sixth century. The other has been mysticism, and this has been systematized in the numerous writings which, collectively, are called the ‘Cabala.’ Of these, the Sefer Yetzirah (Book of Creation), The Bahir (Brilliance), and the Zohar (Splendor) proved the most
influential and enduring.

"Nevertheless, it would be erroneous to assume that the rationalism of the Talmud is not also intertwined with the mystical and the abstruse, or that the Cabala is entirely divorced from reason or, for that matter, even opposed to knowledge. The difference between the two supporting camps has been principally one of emphasis. The rationalists chose logic (such as that developed by the Talmudic Sages) as their principal tool for apprehending God, for achieving wisdom (chachmah) and righteousness. The Cabalists tried to reach the same objectives, but in addition, strained after magical and supernatural goals, utilizing ‘the hidden wisdom’." (p. 66)

Notice again the intended goals for the utilization of these works, "to apprehend G-d, and to achieve wisdom and righteousness. Isn’t that what the Holy Scriptures were given for? Isn’t that the reason the Messiah came? Isn’t that the purpose of the Holy Spirit?

More is admitted concerning the Cabala: "Contrary to popular belief, the Cabala was not created by the Jews of Europe during the Middle Ages. Jewish mysticism goes much farther back into remote times. The history of the Cabala wound a labyrinthine and uncharted course. Emotionally, the Cabala proved to be an intoxicating brew. It combined in itself many contradictory elements: the gentleness of traditional Jewish ethics and practices, a mystically poetic conception of nature and of the soul of man, a morbid occultism, and a dazzling miscellany of superstitions. It also loaded itself down with borrowings of theosophical lore from many religions. For instance, it adopted the Hindu doctrine of metempsychosis—the transmigration of the soul; it took over much of the Chaldean system of astrology and Babylonian-Persian angelology and demonology; it derived its Trinitarian notions from the syncretized Serapis-Isis cult of Hellenistic Egypt. Also, it abandoned itself with a desperate passion to numerological reckonings. It constructed its theological system in part on the Neo-Platonic doctrine of emanations, partly on the gentle quietism of Mohammedan Sufi sect, and partly on the asceticism of the medieval Church in Europe." (IBID, P. 68)

Don’t the statements contained herein bring Jer. 7:8-11 to light? What about the statement concerning the intoxicating brew? Doesn’t this bring Rev. 17:4-6 to mind?

FREEMASONRY AND THE CABALA

Freemasonry admits that its secrets and symbols come from the Cabala, "The mystical philosophy or theosophy of the Jews is called the Cabala. The word is derived from the Hebrew lbk, Kabal, signifying to receive, because it is the doctrine received from the elders. It has sometimes been used in an enlarged sense, as comprehending all explanations, maxims, and ceremonies which have been traditionally handed down to the Jews; but in that more limited acceptation, in which it is intimately connected with the symbolic science of Freemasonry, the Cabala may be defined to be a system of philosophy which embraces certain mystical interpretations of Scripture, and metaphysical and spiritual beings. In these interpretations and speculations, according to the Jewish doctors, were enveloped the most profound truths of religion, which, to be comprehended by finite beings, are obliged to be revealed through the medium of symbols and allegories." (Mackey’s Revised Encyclopedia Of Freemasonry, Vol. 1, p. 166.)

Notice this last statement! The most profound truths of religion, in order to be understood by finite beings, are obliged to be revealed through the medium of SYMBOLS! This, of course, goes directly against the second commandment, "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I YAHWEH thy Elohim am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments," Ex. 20:4-6.

It is also admitted, "All truly dogmatic religions have issued from the Kabalah and return to it: everything scientific and grand in the religious dreams of all the illuminati, Jacob Bœhme, Swedenborg, Saint Martin, and others, is borrowed from the Kabalah; all the Masonic associations owe to it their Secrets and their Symbols." (Morals And Dogma by Albert Pike, p. 744)

"The Kabalah is the key of the occult sciences; and the Gnostics were born of the Kabalists." (Morals And Dogma, p. 626)

"In the KABALAH, or the Hebrew traditional philosophy, the Infinite Deity, beyond the reach of the Human Intellect, and without Name, Form, or Limitation, was represented as developing Himself, in order to create, and by self-limitation, in ten emanations or out-flowings, called SEPHRIOTH, or rays. The first of these, in the world AXILUTH, that is, within the Deity, was KETHER, or the Crown, by which we understand the Divine Will or Potency.

Next came, as a pair, HAKEMAH and BAINAH, ordinarily translated "Wisdom" and "Intelligence," the former termed the FATHER, and the latter the MOTHER. HAKEMAH is the active Power or Energy of Deity, by which He produces within Himself Intellection or Thinking: and BAINHAH, the passive Capacity, from which, acted on by the Power, the Intellection flows. This Intellection is called DAATH: and it is the "WORD," of Plato and the Gnostics; the unuttered word, within the Deity. Here is the origin of the Trinity of the Father, the Mother or Holy Spirit, and the Son or Word. (Morals And Dogma, p. 552)

Isn’t it incredible? Judaism, while condemning the Trinity of Christianity, teaches the doctrine of the Trinity all along. As a matter of fact, the doctrine of the Christian Trinity comes from the Cabala!

According to the Masons themselves, Freemasonry is divided into two branches. There is the branch of the Scottish Rite and the branch of the Shriners. Scottish Freemasonry is the Christian branch while the Shriners are actually the Islamic branch. Their teachings are taken from the Cabala which stems from Judaism, thus while the outward world views these religions as being three distinct and divided religions, the hidden, occultic world reveals that they are united in one. {picture here (Look at the representation of that unity in the center of this page. The great overall preponderance of the leaders of the world are members of Freemasonry. It was mentioned in news reports concerning assassinated Jewish leader Yitchaq Rabin that he was a Mason. It has recently been reported on the internet that Gadafy of Libya is a Mason.

The symbols that we find on the back of our dollar bill are Masonic symbols placed there by Franklin D. Roosevelt, a 33rd degree Mason. When I began to learn the truth about Freemasonry, I heard of the book Morals And Dogma by Albert Pike; I wrote a letter to Masonic headquarters in Washington, D.C. requesting the availability of the book and an opportunity to purchase a copy. I received a return letter from the Grand Executive Director William G. Sizemore, 33°, Rear Admiral, USN (Ret.). Of course, I was denied access to the book, but his letterhead was quite revealing. In a bold sweeping arch were the words "THE SUPREME COUNCIL". Under this heading were smaller words which said "MOTHER COUNCIL OF THE WORLD." Beneath this were the additional words, "of the thirty-third and last degree."

But notice that! MOTHER COUNCIL OF THE WORLD! Didn’t Mr. Ausubel say that the Cabala was a MIXED BREW!? Don’t you put a MIXED BREW in a cup? Here is the harlot of the book of Revelation, chapter 17! The Cabala is the foundation of all of the dogmatic manmade religions! It is the instrument that gives Freemasonry all of its secrets and symbols! Freemasonry consists of all religions of the world and specifically and especially Judaism, Islam and Christianity, the chief religions that are involved in the land of Israel and specifically modern day Jerusalem! The involvement of these three religions in that area have caused Jerusalem to become a cup of trembling (intoxication) in the hands of all nations of the modern day world!

Here are the modern day robbers of whom Jeremiah and YAHshua were speaking! The Pharisees, Scribes and Lawyers were all Masons! This is the system that YAHshua had to deal with. It is a system that looks good on the outside with works that appear to be the works of righteousness and light, but inwardly it is occultic, it is full of dead men’s bones, specifically, the skull and bones of pirates! You see, the word utilized for robbers in Jeremiah is the Hebrew word "periytes." Translated into English, we would get the word "pirates!"

The famous skull and crossbones of piracy is also an important symbol of Freemasonry. I have seen some of the paraphernalia of a 33° degree mason and it did contain the skull and crossbones.

ESTABLISHING THE VISION

It has become a well known fact that Christianity has been quite supportive of the establishment of the modern day nation of Israel. While this has served to establish a very close relationship between much of the Christian movement with Judaism or Zionism, there is still a hidden agenda behind the support of the return of the Jewish people to the land of promise.

The Christian movement, while realizing that violence between the Jewish and Islamic peoples will be the result, still feels that this must come about in order to bring in their desired kingdom of G-d on the earth. This is probably the ulterior desire of all three movements Judaism, Christianity and Islam, to force the Creator to intervene and establish His kingdom on earth. Each movement believes that they are the favored of the Creator and that they are the ones who will rule in the kingdom and that kingdom will rule from Jerusalem.

This period of time was prophesied by the prophet Daniel who wrote, "And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers (periytes/pirates) of thy People shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall," Dan. 11:14.

Notice it! The robbers of THY PEOPLE! Daniel’s people were the Hebrews, especially the Jewish people. Nothing has changed since the days of Jeremiah and the days of YAHshua the Messiah. We are simply in the midst of another round of attempts by the robbers, the thieves, the periytes, or pirates to establish kingdom rule under their own authority. What will happen in the near future? Are we near the end of this world as we know it? We will seek to answer these questions in the next issue!
