I Love David de Alba's rendition of Carousel Dreams! It gave me chills when I heard it - David has a remarkable intuition for the deepest intentions of my feelings-put-to-music, and I think he and Linda LB and Paul Ryner did a wonderful job. For me the big thing a songwriter is most interested in hearing is what each artist who records his song does with it. Interpretation is MOST important to me, because my songs are pieces of my life, and whether I'm writing from the heart, or with a smile, or for a laugh, I'm expressing what is INSIDE of me. I think David de Alba interpreted Carousel Dreams magnificently!
