Terry J. Lee: Biographical Information
Personal Background
Family
Terry James Lee is a native of Arizona. He is the son of Rod and Bea Lee, the second of their nine children. Having been raised in a large family, Terry desired a large family of his own. He met and courted the beautiful Lynda Brown and soon discovered that she wanted a large family among other interests. They were married for time and all eternity in June of 1966 at the Mesa Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They now have nine children and 18+ grandchildren.
Education
In addition to the many things Terry learned from his parents, he quickly discovered while working for his father that he wanted to be his own employer and own his own business. With a keen interest in dentistry, Terry enrolled at Phoenix College and later transfered to the University of Southern California to become a dentist. He obtained his degree and passed his dental and board exams.
Dr. Lee takes his education seriously and still attends classes and conferences frequently during the cours of a typical year. He continues to expand his knowledge of restorative materials and technology and uses some of the most advanced equipment for crown making and filling.
Dentistry
After passing the necessary dental and board exams, he moved his family to their native home of Arizona and established his dental practice with three other doctors. They named their practice Camelback Dentistry and worked as partners for several years. Eventually, they desired independence from each other and separated their practices.
Dr. Lee's practice maintained the name of Camelback Dentistry. It is better known, however, as Biological Holistic Dentistry. This name identifies the alternative viewpoint that Dr. Lee and his patients hold with regards to traditional dentistry as it is practiced in the United States.
