Visitors are welcome to join us for coffee hour in the Parish Hall following the service and to visit our Bookstore. Also, please sign our guest book in the Narthex. Although the Orthodox Church does not practice inter-communion, visitors may come to the altar rail to receive the Priest's blessing and the Blessed Bread. Welcome!

All Souls: Tomorrow, November 2, is All Souls Day, a day of prayer for all the faithful departed. We will be offering two Requiem Masses: one at 12 noon and the other at 7:00 p.m. If you have someone you would like commemorated at the services, there is a signup sheet in the parish hall. You can also email the information to saintvol@yahoo.com. First names only, please.

Thanks: to Deacon Nicholas for conducting services last Sunday. Also, thanks to everyone else who helped keep things running at St. Vincent's while Father Theodore and Matuschka Susan were out of town.

Talks: Father Maximus Urbanowicz, an Orthodox evangelist, will be in Omaha November 7-9 giving talks at several Orthodox churches in the area. He is the head of an organization called "Gospel to All Nations." For more information on these talks, as well as times and locations, please see the flyer in the parish hall.

Acolytes?  We are always looking for new acolytes to serve at the altar. If any of the men of our parish are interested (young or not-so-young), please let Father Theodore know. We will train you!

Coffee Hour: Thank you to everyone who brought food for the potluck today. If you are interested in providing for a future coffee hour, there is a signup sheet in the parish hall. There are dates available until the end of the year. Please see if you can take one!

Parish Fundraiser: The new dates for the parish fundraiser are November 12, 13, 14, and 15. Donations for the rummage sale can be placed on the stage in the parish hall. Please do not bring large items until a day or two before the sale. We also need people to come and help with this project. Please plan to come and work for your Church! If you can help, please see Jewel Brown.

Pledge Reminder: As we come nearer to the end of the year, please try to make sure you fulfilled your pledge to St. Vincent's for 2009. Father Theodore can let you know how much you have given for this year. Please also start to consider what you can pledge for 2010. We will be distributing 2010 pledge cards in a few weeks.

Inquirers' Classes: The next Inquirers' Class is this Saturday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. We continue to use Bishop Hilarion's book, The Mystery of the Faith. Everyone is welcome to join us.
