Todd Ferrante's Home Page
This is where I let the world know what I'm working on away from
work. I'm a mechanical engineer with a strong interest in mobile
robotics, automation, and UAVs/UGVs. (See my patents at the end
of this page.) Being a hands-on kind of guy, I have lots of
hobbies, most of which involve building things. I'm always happy
to email about my various projects and answer any questions.
Enjoy...

Simulation Pages
The site which was hosting my simulation pages seems to have lost
them. I'm glad to email them in a zip file upon request. I
don't have the personal webspace to keep them up, though.

Some time ago I wrote a software application called DC3400TimeLapse.
DC3400TimeLapse allows a user to take time lapse pictures with the
Kodak
DC3400 digital camera. The timing parameters are user settable,
either
through prompts or through command line parameters. If desired,
the
user can change the camera settings (like focus mode, zoom, flash,
etc.)
with the Camera Controls software before starting the time lapse
sequence.
The script will exit either after a specified number of pictures or
when
the mouse cursor is kept in the upper left corner of the screen.

I was digging through some old floppy disks and came across some old
web
pages I created back when I worked at the Idaho National Engineering
Laboratory.
Pipe Crawling Robot
- The Small Pipe Characterization System (SPCS)
project resulted in one of my patents.
Mecanum Wheeled Robot
- This is the Miniature Mecanum Wheeled Vehicle (MMWV).
