Items in this scrapbook were provided by LaVelle Henderson, who obtained them from Frankie Pearson who, in turn, received a great deal of her information from Jane Williams Melton. LaVelle is the mother of a descendant of both Benjamin Anderson and Thomas Melton (1760-1830). Frankie is a descendant of Benjamin Anderson, and Jane is the wife of a descendant of both Benjamin and Thomas. These documents provide us a pretty good overview of this Anderson line, and also it's relationship with the Thomas & Elizabeth (Allen) Melton family.
