Scrapbook for Clifford Earl Melton
Cliff was a WW-II veteran, serving first in the Army Air Corp in 1941 at Shepard Field
in Texas, and then from 1942-1945 in the US Navy. His initial naval service was as a tail
gunner on a
PBY.
Then, from 1943-1945 he served on the Aircraft Carrier
"Altamaha" during it's period of operation.
