Early Works

These files represent some of my early work and my thanks to Bunty Pritchard Jones who applied the karaoke. Of special interest is 'The White Cliffs Of Dover' - not the one known so well now but an earlier song - and far more dramatic.

Midi experts will cringe over the way I made these but they sound OK enough.

Dame Gracie Fields

All the files were sequenced and karaoked by James Pitt-Payne except where not so marked. These other files were kindly karaoked by Bunty Pritchard Jones

Noel Coward

This is the tip of the Noel Coward midi iceberg. Please e-mail me at drjames@ntlworld.com for substantially more in the way of midi files that have been done but not applicable karaoke-wise.

My thanks to Bunty Pritchard Jones for the karaoke of 'London Pride'

Ian Cousins-1

I started collaborating with Ian Cousins in 2001 and these are the files we produced in the second half of the year. The process is simple. I sequenced the file and then sent it to Ian who put it through his Macintosh program and made the necessary changes and suggestions. After that back it came to my PC and the words applied.

My thanks to Ian Cousins for this help in making these files

James Pitt-Payne & Ian Cousins

These are our files for 2002. We hope to restart again in August 2002 when Ian is back from his latest tour.

Misc-1

All karaoke applied by Bunty Pritchard Jones, thank-you... The search for old music never stops and a figure that looms large in this endeavour is my friend, Doug Grierson, without whom I would often have not been able to get to the place where we thought the music might be!
