Mission Statement:
To support the Encinitas Library as it strives to encourage literacy, lifelong learning, and the love of reading throughout our diverse community. To enhance the library's resources, increase the community's access to information and knowledge, and provide for a vibrant cultural gathering place.

Location:
The library is located at 540 Cornish Drive, between "D" and "E" streets, behind (but not accessible from) Encinitas City Hall. In the San Diego County Thomas Guide it is on page 1147, grid C7.

To support the goals of the Friends, you are cordially invited to join the Friends. The membership levels and their associated dues are as follows:| *Senior (over 65 years of age) | $10.00 |
| *Individual | $15.00 |
| *Family | $25.00 |
| Business | $35.00 |
| Patron | $50.00 |
| Special Friend | $100.00 |
*Asterisked membership levels are not available to business organizations.

Friends of the Encinitas Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. Donations and memberships are deductible to the full extent allowable by law.

The Encinitas Library is part of the San Diego County Library System and receives additional support from the City of Encinitas.
