Caveats

Like almost every Web Site, this is a "Work in Progress". It is a part of my collecting hobby, not my vocation. And, as such, it may suffer when other things in my life demand a higher priority. Quite frankly it is also on probation, if it serves no purpose to the community of Topcon collectors, then it has no reason for existence. Your feedback will be a critical element in its success and continuation.

This Web Site, is restricted to the Topcon RE Super/Super D camera system-bodies, lenses and accessories. The reason for this restriction is simple, my knowledge of other camera systems, including other Topcon models is very limited.

Also, I do not plan to appraise any equipment and will not even try to quote prices. The marketplace sets prices, and each buyer and seller must decide the value they place on any particular item. There is no Topcon "Blue Book" that I know of.

About the Images Presented on this Web Site

It probably goes without saying that, considering my devotion to Topcon, all images on this Web Site were made with Topcon RE Super/Super D cameras, lenses and accessories. This has to be, since I own no equipment from other manufacturers, and never have. In all of my 35 years of using Topcons I have not  been limited by the equipment and found no need to try something else.

A Note on the Topcon Name

As far as I know, "Topcon" is still a registered Trade Mark of the Tokyo Optical Company. And, while they no longer build cameras for consumers, they do produce a wide range of cameras for the medical profession, GPS receivers and surveying equipment. In this Web Site, whenever I use the name "Topcon" I try to make certain it is associated with the RE Super/Super camera system. If I fail to be explicit, let it be known that the connection is implied.
