The following players are not USCF members or their memberships have expired. They WILL NOT be paired in the tournament unless they renew their memberships. It is HIGHLY preferable that they do so before the tournament and not AT the tournament. Regular tournaments have entry fees which can offset the membership dues paid by the director with his credit card during the tournament so it can be immediately rated. There are no Entry Fees for this tournament so someone is going to have to advance their credit card for the memberships. If the players do not wish to join for a regular membership, e.g. an Academy player who will only play in this one event for the next year, you can join with a Tournament Membership. The new Junior (Age 24 and under) TM is $7 and is good for this tournament. It gets one issue of Chess Life and $5 of the membership can be applied to a full membership within 60 days. The regular Tournament membership (Age 25 and up) remains $20 until Dec 1 and this can be appplied to a regular membership within 60 days as well.
