Only the best song ever by Van Halen

2) In Your Eyes- Peter Gabriel
Pretty Damn close to being #1 on my list

3) Only Time Will Tell- Asia
The first "favorite song" I ever had

4) Blinded by the Light- Manfred Man's Earth Band
Discovered very early in life, rediscoverded as a teenager

5) Welcome to the Machine- Pink Floyd
One of those songs you hear all of your life and realize later
that is one of your favorites

6) Subdivisions- Rush
Same as number 5, just an awesome song

7) Home by the Sea- Genesis
Discovered after learning that Steve Hackett
and Peter Gabriel used to be in Genesis

8) Lunatic Fringe- Red Rider
Vision Quest soundtrack- movie ok
song - incredible

9) Solsbury Hill- Peter Gabriel
A song that I identify with my best friend WC.
My life hasn't been the same since he got here.

10) Landslide- Fleetwood Mac
A song about getting older, introduced in a
different way by WC.
Remade by Smashing Pumpkins in a way that
does it justice.

Now by all rights a new release has no right being in a lifetime favorite list
but this song has crept its way into a few major events in my life.
I heard it when I found out that I was going to get the new job,
when a group of us spent the day at the fair for Dawn's BDay,
and it was the last song Dawn and I heard at the hospital
before we had Danny.
