Ogden,
Utah
I have just gotten back from
easily
one of the best trips of my life.
It started shortly after work on Thursday, I took what amounted to a
power nap,
met up with Ryan and Melinda and we headed out.(about 11:30)
First stop was Flagstaff, we made pretty good time and continued on to
Page, AZ.
Straight up HWY 89 through (unknown to myself ) some of the most
beautiful
countryside in our land.
Finally at around 10:30 in the morning we came rolling into Ogden Utah.
Now at 10:30 am Friday morning I was not thinking this was the fun trip
I had in mind.
We got lost trying to find the hotel, found it, but I still
hadn't gotten in touch with Dawn, etc. etc.
Finally at around 1:00 I got the room situation straightened out, but
had
to wait until three to check in.
So I did.
At aound 7:45 I had played around enough to get ready for the first of
the business conferences.
My life will never be the same.
That night and Saturday were filled with information and inspiration. I
learned more people skills and
financial management, and got to meet and talk to some very influencial
people
that have
confidence in me where I was lacking it in myself.
After spending a day and a half in seminars and being around some
pretty
cool people, it was time to come back.
That's when I noticed the scenery. That alone was worth the trip, but
several
things
along the way had already made it worth it. I learned alot about
myself
that weekend. I have some pretty lofty
dreams, but I can see how I am going to fulfil them. Things will
definately
never be the same.
