A Basenji Lure Coursing Photo Album

That's Lindy in the pink blanket, at the 1999 BCOA Nationals. She came in sixth place, which is not bad for a fat old field cheater - excuse, Field Champion. My son, Robert (the guy without the hat) has just released her.

This is Lindy a few moments later, clearing the berm, or hill, in the field. After the trial, one of the judges remarked that seeing the basenjis come over that little hill was one of the most thrilling moments of her life. I daresay our judge was something of a basenji fanatic, but one must admit that a basenji in motion is one of God's great masterworks. So much beauty and grace in a little package!
