These are a handful of the pieces I've done for my own amusement. Some originated as doodling during the sermons at church (sorry, Nathan & John! I really have been listening!). Others were more serious in intent, though equally fun to create.
It is wonderful to take a scribbled little drawing, scan it into the computer, fix your mistakes, and add color. I haven't had much success using the graphics tablet for quick sketches - there just doesn't seem to be the marvelous freedom of line one experiences with pencil or pen in hand. So I was delighted to discover that I could have the best of both worlds by transferring an original sketch from paper to Photoshop and/or Superpaint. Virtual tools like graduated fills and the airbrush are an integral part of my cyber-studio and, wow, are they ever fun to play with.
