
On top of the grand piano, of course! After an unsuccessful season with a six-foot tree and lots of no-chew spray, we headed out for Target and bought a teensy-tiny, little tabletop tree, and put it on top of the piano. This keeps tree, train, and pack intact.
(By the way, this would be a dining room, if I had one, but pianos take precedence over a room that stays empty 364 days out of the year. Wouldn't you rather have a piano too?)
