Lists the birth county and state of both the bride and the groom. Lists the county and state the bride and the groom each reside in at the time of the marriage. Lists age of bride and groom. Also list if it is the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd marriage and/or divorced or widowed at the time of marriage for both bride and groom. 1856 & 1857 marriages lists the Justice of the Peace. 1874 marriages include colored marriages and the occupation of the groom.

Tax Records
of Decatur County Tennessee
These records list the taxpayer along with the surname of neighbors North, South, East, and West of each landholding tax payer. Lists the year and civil district they reside, number of acres, town lots, poll tax, and total tax paid by all landholders and non-landholders. These are an invaluable alternate source for the burned 1890 Federal census and burned courthouse records. Over 12,000 entries between both volumes.
